    Description

    2025 Honda CRF250RX Red

    Conquer every horizon
The CRF250RX merges motocross thrill with desert racing design, featuring customized gearbox ratios, an 18-inch rear wheel, unique engine settings, handguards, a sidestand, and a larger fuel tank. So, if you're looking for a powerful, precise, and nimble off-road ride with cutting-edge suspension, look no further.

    Features May Include:

    • Fuel injection system
Tilting the fuel injector at a 60-degree angle sprays fuel directly towards the throttle butterfly, providing the engine with a denser and cooler fuel charge and increasing torque and power.
    • DOHC engine
It features a unique finger-follower rocker design in a double-overhead-cam (DOHC) engine layout, providing more power and a higher redline.
    • Big bore/short stroke
The 79mm bore and short 50.9mm stroke let our engineers create a high-revving engine with plenty of room for large valves—the two keys to making power in the enduro world.
    • Downdraft intake and exhaust
The DOHC cylinder-head design straightens the intake and exhaust tracts for improved efficiency. Straighter ports boost low-speed and midrange torque and throttle response.
    • Single exhaust
The bike uses a single-pipe header and a single muffler. It routes close to the center, and its light overall construction helps improve weight distribution.
    • Titanium intake and exhaust valves
Light is right when it comes to a high-revving engine’s reciprocating masses. We use titanium intake and exhaust valves with a super-narrow 20.5-degree included valve angle.
    • Large-diameter valves
The engine's twin-cam design features large-diameter valves with 33mm intakes and 26mm exhausts, which improves flow at high revs.
    • Throttle body
With a 44mm venturi designed to speed up airflow, the throttle body reaps benefits at low engine operating speeds. You get power and snap right now.
    • Bridged-box piston
The bridged-box piston design features a reinforcing structure between the skirts and the wrist-pin bosses that helps enable the high redline.
    • High-volume airbox
The airbox and air-cleaner element have a larger surface area and volume to increase midrange power. Additionally, the air filter is easy to service.
    • High-performance cam profiles
With input from our HRC factory team, we’ve given the bike cams with profiles that help the engine produce better bottom-end torque while retaining substantial peak power.
    • Dunlop Geomax tires
The Dunlop Geomax tires are designed for enduro use, rolling on an 18-inch rear wheel.
    • New tripleclamps, axle, and steering stem
New triple clamps for 2025 work with a revised fork, front axle, and steering stem to provide a consistent suspension feel and improve rigidity, responsiveness, and turning performance.
    • Twin-spar aluminum frame
Narrower main spars save weight and improve responsiveness. This year, 70 percent of the frame components are new, enhancing turning performance and working with the new suspension.
    • 260mm front brake
The front brake disc measures 260mm, which provides excellent brake feel and weight reduction. Front and rear brake-disc guards are included.
    • Low battery mounting
Locating the battery low in the chassis helps lower the center of gravity, which always helps overall handling.
    • Low rear shock mount
Its lower rear frame shock mount moves the center of gravity further down and improves chassis stability.
    • Short swingarm
The bike's short swingarm reduces unsprung mass, improves rear-wheel traction, and lightens it for improved handling.
    • Showa® spring fork
The 49mm Showa® fork has a traditional spring design and a 39mm piston with a 25mm rod diameter that enhances precision, handling, and feel. Upgrades in 2025 include new springs, seals, and valves for a consistent stroke feel across the full range.
    • Rear suspension
Our Pro-Link® design gives it 12.3 inches of suspension travel and a lightweight spring, resulting in a plush, controlled ride.
    • Nine-plate clutch
It uses a nine-plate design to improve durability and hookup. That means less slip at peak horsepower, better torque transmission through the clutch pack, and improved durability.
    • HRC Launch Control
Push the button, hold the throttle open, and release the clutch – this bike will do the rest, launching you into the first turn with a big advantage. It's a holeshot-seeking machine!
    • Special primary and transmission ratios
It gets special primary and transmission ratios to handle the fatter midrange power and torque. The ratios let our engineers use the same shaft centerlines as the previous design so the transmission remains light and compact.
    • Gear-position engine mapping
An ECU with custom engine mapping for each gear delivers optimal power, setting it apart from the competition.
    • Large-capacity radiator
A larger radiator area results in better cooling and more power from start to finish. This design includes six percent more radiator area than previous models.
    • Engine oil scavenge pump
Deep in the engine, there’s a special oil scavenge pump that we’ve designed to be especially small and out of the way. While you may never see it, it helps keep the overall design compact.
    • Shared engine/gearbox lubrication
The 2025 model uses a shared engine/transmission oiling design. Combining the two systems shaves weight and helps make the engine more compact, especially when placing the right-side cam drive and clutch close together.
    • Handguards
Whether you’re ripping through Baja or hustling through some tight woods, handguards are absolutely necessary on a bike like this. That’s why it's equipped with them right from the factory.
    • "In-mold" graphics
With all the time you’ll spend in the victory circle, you need to look your best. Our "in-mold" graphics look great and stay looking good for a long time.
    • Fresh styling
The 2025 model gets new “stacked” CRF graphics that take their styling cues from our HRC works bikes.
    • Lower seat/narrower body
Fine-tuning the seat height and narrowing the bodywork makes it easier for you to move around on the bike and helps enhance rider comfort.
    • Sidestand
Real enduro bikes need a sidestand, and we’ve given this bike a great one. We’ve tucked it in tighter, so it’s out of the way on the trail.
    • Electric start
It's equipped with an effortless electric starter. Convenient and lightweight, it’s a huge deal if you need to restart a stalled bike in the heat of battle.
